Regional Press – New size leads to new opportunities
In October 2004, the Western Mail converted from broadsheet to a new compact sized paper.
Thomas Media was one of the first to hear of the change of format and we quickly planned how best to seize the initiative on behalf of two of our Welsh based clients.

Having secured the first full page, a creative concept developed which had relevance to the change of page dimensions. The "Great Minds Don't Think Alike" copy achieved excellent awareness.

The new format also offered greater flexibility in positioning and size of advertising copy. Outside left strip and outside right strip advertisements were negotiated, a perfect campaign for the WDA brand 'Innovation Works'!
